Philip De Rosa is an orthopedic physician assistant who sees patients in clinic and assists in surgery. He currently sees patients in Alpharetta and Cumming. He believes that through active listening and engagement with patients, he can create an individualized treatment plan specific to each person’s needs and goals. Philip gains fulfillment by seeing patients regain their independence and return to higher activity levels with less pain.
Philip grew up in Acworth, GA. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. He then completed his Masters in Physician Assistant studies at Augusta University (formerly Medical College of Georgia) where he served as class Vice President.
Philip has practiced for nearly 5 years as a physician Assistant. After graduating from Augusta University, he worked at a total joints practice in Charlotte for 3 years. He and his wife wished to be closer to family so they relocated back to the Atlanta area in 2021. He also has previous experience in thoracic surgery.
Outside of work, Philip and his wife enjoy being outdoors especially hiking, camping, and being out on the water. Around the house Philip enjoys working in the yard, woodworking, and cooking.
