About Jon Stubblefield, PA

Jon retired from the military after serving twenty-five years in the United States Army. He spent his career predominately working with Special Operation and Light Infantry Units. He attended the Interservice Physician Assistant Program and holds a postgraduate degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Jon has traveled extensively overseas while in the military and later as a civilian contractor. He completed multiple tours in the Middle East (Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, and Eritrea) in which he provided medical care in a variety of austere civilian and military environments.

He is versatile in his ability to work independently and as a team player to accomplish medical missions. His diverse background ranges from tactical medicine to humanitarian assistance projects. Prior to settling in Atlanta, he worked in the Orthopedic Department at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland. He is qualified as a Flight Surgeon and Dive Medical Officer. Interests include wilderness, expedition and global health medicine.
