Our Mission

Our mission at Total Joint Specialists is clear: to improve the quality of life of those suffering from the pain and functional compromise of hip and knee arthritis. At the same time, we are actively engaged in improving the system in which this care is delivered. Through remodeling the system, we are able to provide better quality, a better experience, a better price point and, most importantly, better outcomes than our less focused competition.

Our History

Total Joint Specialists was formed by a group of orthopedic surgeons in the Atlanta area who had two things in common. First, their practices were focused exclusively on hip and knee replacement. Second, they were nationally recognized as leaders and innovators in their field. Driven by compassion and fueled by a commitment to excellence, they set out to create a sanctuary where patients could find solace from the burden of joint pain and regain their mobility with confidence. 

Originally formed in 2018 under the name Arthritis and Total Joint Specialists, our group is new in comparison to many orthopedic surgery groups. Although our practice is relatively new, our surgeons are not new to hip and knee replacement surgery. Through their combined career experience, our surgeons have performed over 80,000 hip and knee replacements. Our surgeons have more experience with these surgeries than any group in the region. In 2022, the group’s name was condensed to Total Joint Specialists to emphasize our exclusive specialization in hip and knee replacement surgery. Every one of our surgeons has undergone subspecialty training in hip and knee replacement surgery and limits their practice exclusively to these surgeries. 

Total Joint Specialists has become synonymous with excellence, earning the trust of patients and referring physicians alike. Our reputation for compassionate care and outstanding outcomes has drawn patients from far and wide who seek relief from arthritis pain through joint replacement surgery. We have expanded access to exceptional joint care throughout the region and proudly serve patients in Acworth, Alpharetta, Braselton, Canton, Cumming, Ellijay, Gainesville, Lawrenceville, Midtown (Atlanta), Sandy Springs, Snellville, and Woodstock, Georgia.
